The Chester Fair Scholarship
The Chester Agricultural and Mechanical Society, Inc. Annual Scholarship is available to all students active in the Chester Fair without discrimination as to race, color or creed. Applicants must be a resident of Connecticut and be enrolled, or accepted, at an accredited institution of higher learning.graduation cap
One scholarship in the amount of $1,000 will be awarded annually to a graduating high school senior or a current college student pursuing a course of study in any field in the next academic year.
The following factors will be considered by the selection committee:
Fair Participation – 50%
Scholarship Standing – 25%
Citizenship and Leadership – 25%
